NFCU Account Combination

I just requested a closure of my Platinum MC and to spread the CL between my Platinum Visa and Cash Rewards.  I only used it for the balance transfer and the year is up.   Should be no problem and I've done this before.  Shouldn't be a problem.

When you have done this before how long did it take for them to close out the card and transfer the credit limit?

2 years ago it was done for me.  Normally takes a couple of days.

Ok thanks, unfortunately it was Friday when they put the request in so I’m wondering if it will take a bit longer

It's been a while, but I combined two Platinum cards once upon a time.

Currently, I've got Cash Rewards, Platinum, and Flagship...  I think I'm good for a while.
