Does anyone know often NFCU runs 0% balance transfer promos?
Once a year
every year I have had the card they have run the promotion.
I don't carry balances currently, but was planning on buying some expensive ariline and hotel tickets for a 2014 vacation. If NFCU does it again, I will use it to get a ton of rewards on my travel cards and then transfer the balance to nfcu and take my time paying for it.
Well, its not only for people who don't PIF. I usually PIF. But if NFCU offers 0% with no fee, I will surely use it even though I could pay in full. They eliminate any reason to pay in full, by making it really easy to pay over time and put that extra money somewhere else, without costing anything.
I did a BT with them for a promotion in january or february for 0% 15 months zero BT fee. maybe this year it is more than once..
I was not a member last year, so I cannot say what happened previously

Just signed up my Granddaughter as a member to open Cd's for her when shes 18.
NFCU said there will be a special next week on Bt's.. Last year they ran it for only a Week....
Does this mean anyone with a NFCU credit card will be able to partake in the balance transfer? Not sure how these things work...
...is it a period of 0 interest rate if you buy it on the card OR do you have to buy it on another card and then transfer the balanace? Looking at a new bike that might come in nice for this...
So current members can transfer a balance on an existing card? Has there ever been a limit?
excellent news
