I seriously doubt they will give you 25k. I'd use the HP's to get other cards that have better rewards that justify your everyday spending.

+1
Good luck on getting Cap1 to even give you $500, that's not a slight at you, but at Cap1, from my experience and from what I've heard from others they are terrible at giving increases. I had the card for 7 years, and the would not once give me a increase which is why I gave it the axe (even though it was my oldest card).

I understand from many threads on here the 4 month standard wait for a cli. I want to go for the $25k at some point this year, but I don't want to over extend myself for future cards. Plus im not sure if they would do so based on my income. My income is $54k. Should I stick with my current limit, and go for future cards, and take the chance with asking for the max(I understand I may get a counter offer) or work on getting future cards with good CL's?
futre Credit Lines from Navy or from other banks???
WHO CARES... Looking at your other cards the only people you should be concerned about are over at Navy!! CLI CLI CLI AWAY!
maybe at 4-6 months look at adding a $15k NavCheck
and maybe Citi, Chase or Discover if you can get a Pre-Qual off any of their sites...
I agree with Creditaddict - read my post about the Auto Loan and NavCheck to 15k that I just posted, just go for it Navy is on a whole other level.

Thanks guys! I'm gonna do myself a solid and wait till the scores go up and the acct ages a little. And yes, NFCU has been nothing short of amazing!! Love them!
Sounds like a solid plan! The CLI isn't going anywhere anytime soon....and yes NFCU is awesome! I opened an account last year and never knew of the love they have been giving to their members.
