Does anyone know if the "groceries" points multiplier on the various Navy Federal credit cards work abroad? Specifically in Mexico.
Also does Uber, and again in Mexico , Didi(ride share app) count as travel for the purposes of multipliers on points?
Groceries, definitely (as long as the merchant is coded as such). Ride shares are not explicitly stated in the allowable merchant categories for Transit and Gas on More Rewards, yet ride shares are listed under Transit for Flagship. As long as merchants are coded as an allowable MCC on the Visa or Amex network your card is issued on, NFCU doesn't exclude non-US merchants.
