NFCU Product Change Question

Hello all, 

I am product changing my Platinum to the Flagship Rewards through NFCU. I am coming up on a year with the Platinum (PC'd from Go Rewards) and am wondering if I should request an APR decrease request on it before I product change to possibly receive a lower APR than had I not requested an APR decrease on the Platinum?

When you PC they'll automatically generate the APR you qualify for and that's what you'll get. If you qualify for the lower APR, they'll give it to you. If you now qualify for a higher APR, you'll get that instead. I recommend calling them that way you can ask them what will happen to your APR.
