NFCU Verification Question

I'm going to apply for NFCU today through my sisters husband. (Army)  Just curious on how they verify she is my sister, do they need some sort of documentation or what do they use?  Just trying to have everything ready for them.

I joined through my sister's husband as well....my sibling?  I am not sure how it works if you go in the branch, but I applied on-line and all they asked for was his Access# and his current status (army, navy, civilian, etc).

Actually, is your sister a member? It would be easier to join through her...you are her family member!

She is not yet, her husband is deployed and she is waiting until he gets back to join.  But in the mean time id love to get my foot in the door and then my butt to the garden.

Sis has to join first then you join thru her. Why does she have to wait till he gets back? She can join today then you join

+1 what he said...LOL All she needs is his access#, then you will need hers. It will take less than a day.
