Navy Secured

I was thinking about closing my Navy secured card to help pay my deductable for a surgery I'd like to do.  I was wondering if anyone has closed on before and how long it took to receive your funds back?  My card has a zero balance.

Re: Navy Secured

I would call and ask or go in and ask if near a branch.

Re: Navy Secured

FYI it might also say on the T&C disclosure that they mailed with the card. You can read it with your morning coffee Smiley Happy

Re: Navy Secured

Sorry about having to have surgery.

I don't know how to post pictures on here, but my Navy Disclosure forms that came with my secured card said seven to ten business days after any pending charges have posted.  Then you get the difference back.  In your case the whole amount since you have a zero balance.

Re: Navy Secured

I closed mine last week. I didn't need it any more as my unsecured credit has grown quite a bit.

You can close it by sending a Secure Message asking them to do so, or by calling in.

The funds will be released by the next day, if not within a couple hours.

Good luck with your surgery!
