We are looking at applying for a NFM card because we are in bad need of furniature. Our scores are 564 & 578. Does anyone know if they will approve someone with that low of a score?
No one can answer what a specific "store card" approval will be because its based on unknown parameters, you might talk to their credit manager as to your chances. One factor that you can bank on is that if they approve you that your interest rates will be sky high if your fico scores are in the 500's.
NFM is 18% for everyone.
I doubt you'll see an approval in the 500s score wise.
650 or so (Experian) will get you a small, starter limit.
Nebraska does have no credit financing too. Just have to go in store and ask.
i believe its through progressive leasing.
My best friend got turned down several times over a few years and then finally approved when her score reached 680. She did the app online and got a 1k credit limit. My brother applied in-store with a 650-ish score and got approved for 3k.
Once you get your scores up to 650, I would recommend applying in the store because you would have a better chance of getting a higher starting limit vs applying online.
Love NFM 0% financing deals.

DW and I have done all of our major appliances and the vast majority of our furniture via NFM 0% deals. She opened her account in 2009 and has yet to pay them a penny in interest.
