Need CLI Advice, And a simple question about Inquiries.

Hi guys. first of all i want to say i really appreciate your help in the past iv'e learned alot about credit and seem to be doing very well for myself lately.

Now i'm looking to increase one of TL credit limit and willing to take 1 hard inquiry for it, i wanna know which one is the right to go and has less risk to be declined.

Chase Freedom: Credit Limit: Credit limit of $1,000 from 11/2013 to 02/2014; $3,000 from 03/2014 to 06/2014

Amazon Chase:  Credit limit of $2,500 from 07/2013 to 07/2013; $2,500 from 09/2013 to 05/2014(note they increased it for me automatically from 2.5k to 3.5k in 29 of may)

Express CC: Credit limit of $150 from 10/2012 to 04/2013; $150 from 09/2013 to 09/2013; $450 from 10/2013 to 12/2013

Discover it: Credit Limit: Credit limit of $2,500 from 03/2014 to 05/2014

target: Credit Limit: Credit limit of $300 from 08/2013 to 05/2014

Wells fargo platinum: Credit Limit: Credit limit of $500 from 01/2013 to 07/2013; $700 from 08/2013 to 11/2013; $5,700 from 12/2013 to 05/2014

Notes: I dont use wells fargo very often maybe have 3% util most of the time, almost never use target, maybe once every three months. i use chase and freedom % discover and have between 5-20% util on all of them.

All increases above were per my request and resulted in a hard inquiry besides the amazon one which declined me in jan.

Now for the second question which is very related cuz i am already suffering from quite a bit of inq on my reports.

transiunion has 5

and experian has 16 (not sure how that big of a diffrence)

they all claim to be lasting on my report for two years, now do lenders consdier 2 years on 1 year or whatever is shown in the report?

i thought a year is when an inquiry expires but i guess not. will it affect my score after a year of inquiry? or just after the two years.

equifax giving me issue btw with getting their free report thy want me to send them ssc so i dont know how many i have on equifax.

So which one should i request for increase on? and is there any chance for soft pull and if yes how do i actually nagotiate for this soft pull cuz all cards besides amex seem to be very harsh on this matter especially for me with 2 year credit only. (these are not all my cards these are the once i consider increasing)

Thank you guys for all the help.

Chase Freedom: Credit Limit: Credit limit of $1,000 from 11/2013 to 02/2014; $3,000 from 03/2014 to 06/2014 Chase is every 6 months from last request for CLI's

Discover it: Credit Limit: Credit limit of $2,500 from 03/2014 to 05/2014 Every 3-4 months for CLI's ...This would be my first choice as it's a SP first and if a HP is needed you'll be informed

target: Credit Limit: Credit limit of $300 from 08/2013 to 05/2014

Wells fargo platinum: Credit Limit: Credit limit of $500 from 01/2013 to 07/2013; $700 from 08/2013 to 11/2013; $5,700 from 12/2013 to 05/2014

Notes: I dont use wells fargo very often maybe have 3% util most of the time, almost never use target, maybe once every three months. i use chase and freedom % discover and have between 5-20% util on all of them. Is this UTL total of all cards or on each? Because if it's each think about bringing UTL under 10% before any CLI request.

HP's I'll explain it a little better for you seems confusing

For scoring purposes HP's are factored for the first year

However they remain on CR's for 2 years at which time they fall off

Here's where it think you need clarification ....even tho they aren't factored into scoring after one year some lenders do and will hold high numbers of HP's against you in a new app/CLI process which could result in a denial

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

I'm guessing you mean harsh in terms of approving as AmEx is always SP.  Discover may be SP but you need to call and confirm.  I had to go with an HP for my Discover CLI but YMMV.

Re: Need CLI Advice, And a simple question about Inquiries.

Thank you guys i will call discover and see if i can get soft pull cli, also chase every 6 months is sp or hp? iv'e been informed that it's always hard pull with them unless i am member for very long time. it might be bs but i talked to underwriter and thats what he told me, that theres is pretty much no soft pull cli unless i'm member for 7 years or along with those lines.

Are target and express useless and not worth inquiry? they really do seem useless cuz even ii get increased from 300 to 1k or to 1.5k its not worth HP should i just ignor them?

Chase is almost always HP.
