Need a credit card!! Please help

So I applied for Citibank Visa and was denied due to the fact that I too few revolving accounts?

How am I supposed to have revolving accounts if stupid companines like Citibank deny me?

My scores are EX 685 EQ 627 TU? waiting on report and score this week..

I have no collection accounts on TU and Ex

one collection account on EQ medical that Ive sent a PFD settlement offer to

I have 3 secured cards

Orchard, 1st premier and Capital one.

all in good standing, pays as agreed/never late

What do you do at this point?

How old are your 3 secured cards? It's possible you just need to let them age a bit.

What are your CL's on each of the CC's you have now?

Maybe just try to keep building up the CL's on those cards by throwing $$ at them whenever you can, build them up some and let them age (if they are pretty new).

Seek a card from a credit union.

Citi is not easy to get, so don't take it too hard.   I also started with 3 secured cards.   CITI also turned me down a year ago( 10 months in).

I suggest you wait unitl you have over a  year of history, try adding 1 or 2 store cards from stores you frequent.  When you get between 18 months and 2 years of history, try for some unsecured major cards.   I suggest Capital One or Orchard since they are easier to get and you have existing relationship with them.   

You are most likely paying high fees for the 1st premier, if so, I would close it once you have a year of history on it.   It will stay on your credit report for 10 years as a positive account.

my cards arent that old. all under a year.

i also have my car loan thru coastal finance that i have never been late on. pays as agreed/never late since 3/09

but that doesnt seem to matter unless I'm trying to buy another car..

i guess i just need to have patience. i want overnight results.

i worked so hard to get all of the collection accounts removed and i got 3 new cards.

but now when you look at my credit reports, it looks like i just started building credit.

i guess thats better than having negative stuff on there.

Getting rid of the negatives is better!.  I have several negatives that I will have to wait out for 4 more years. 

Patience is hard, but in a few years, it will improve greatly.

I thought you had to be a member to get a credit card through a credit union.

Or is that just to open a checking account....don't you have to know somebody who knows somebody? lol

You do have to be a member of a Credit Union for any type of account.   There are membership requirements, usually based on where you work, where you live, what non profit organization you belong to, or related to a member.
