Hello MyFico community.
This May my aaoa will be 8 months, util will be 4%, and scores will be between 690-710. I'm planning on app for Chase freedom, citi dp, and discover it. Which one should I app from first to last, which is more inq. sensitive. I'm already preapproved for all. My concern is I also want an amex prg, I was planning on app for that one in December, but I'm afraid I might get declined for these 3 new accounts. Should I maybe app for the prg on the same time. if so, what order. The last acct opened was November 2013, and last inq. was aug. 2013. Thank you

But if it were me I'd go for all four and place Amex first then follow the order

I agree with the Amex app being first. The great thing about Amex as well is the frequent CLIs. Taeke it from a guy who got on their bad side years ago, do not make them angry. Once you are in it is fantastic. Once you apply for these you will need to garden for quite some time. Your scores are not bad by any means but what will bite you in the rear is your AAoA after all these new TLs post.
So, once you get approved for these new TLs come and give us a visit in the garden. We are a fun bunch of folks

If I app for prg first and get approved, can I instantly app for the bce and if denied will it be a sp??
Yes and yes YMMV
I was approved for both 1 HP but had the second app been denied it would have been a SP because my first was an approval
Amex customers
HP if approved SP if denied

Just apped for AMEX Delta and BCE last week. Delta was an instant approval (EX). I immediately apped for BCE and it was put on "hold" for 4-5 days. CSR explained this was to prevent duplicate apps or fraud. I was told by CSR if denied after review, it would be a SP.
Was approved for BCE yesterday after "hold" was released by the system, but cost me a 2nd EX hard pull. Others have reported being able to do a 2-for-1 HP with AMEX so YMMV.

Freedom --> reason is you can always call to recon.. I had 24 inquiries when I got approved on marriott thru recon
I would do the following order since I think Citi is quite sensitive to inquiries. If you use the multiple browser method to apply within seconds of each other, none of the banks should see the other inquiries anyways. Also the AMEX can wait- while HPs report for 2 years, recent inquiries means those within the last 6 months (sometimes 12 months).
