I could use some suggestions on a good MasterCard issuer that has low foreign exchange rates and any other perk or protections you can get while traveling abroad. I currently have a BBVA ClearPoints Visa. I would like to carry another network when I travel this summer.
All Capital One cards have no foreign transaction fees. Chase Inks (all cards), Sapphire Preferred (must request Mastercard or go through the Mastercard website), and the Citi Thank You Premier (must request Mastercard) all have no foreign transaction fees and all have bonuses of at least 200. Most cards without foreign transaction fees have annual fees, but the ones I mentioned all have it waived the first year. Capital One would be the best way to go if you intend to keep the card a long time.
