I know I have too many inqs the last year (18) and (9) in the last 6 months, and too many new accounts the last 6 months.(9 reported) (2 not reported)
However my low Utilization 10% and the recent 5k approval in my Compass CC kept that constant itch of one more, just one more.
then I convinced my self saying " You havent get a no in such a long time" you have way better credit now, you score and utilization are good. you will get it!
then I applied for the Chase Freedom and got a 10 days message, called the recon number and rep, made me feel, ASHAMED of my self, I felt like I was caught!
TOO MANY INQS, TOO MANY NEW ACCS, ACTIVELY SEEKING NEW CREDIT! DENIED
No more Happy Dance and put head down. However I feel much better now. the ache of denial got rid of my itch for approval/
I a truly feel the need of let my CR age and clean it self with time....

PS. I did also applied for the commenity Total Rewards Card same day... yeah i know im baaddd (7-10 days message)
