The plot thickens! So mine seems to have appeared today as the previous statement balance was paid, rather than disappeared. I suppose for data points, I was at 30% util when my last statement closed (and 25-50% for the couple of statements since opening), about 45% last night mid-cycle, and about 22% now not counting pending transactions.

Love how Amex added "This wasn't here before" to draw your attention to it!Pretty sure that was his own edit to point it out in case we missed it lol.
No, that was why I noticed it to begin with. Thought the different font looked really out of place.
It was obviously by design.

I'll update if it comes back in the next few days. I suppose it may wait until they've actually pulled the money out of my account or until I move back out of a zero balance. I need to order some equipment, so I could get to 40% again in an hour.
I had noticed this button yesterday on my SPG as well, but assumed it was just an update to their website. Since it is my only revolver, I didn't have anything to compare it to. My other Amex cards are charge cards and thus would not have this button. When I clicked it, it simply took to me to the normal page where you're allowed to enter the new amount you want. I thought it was no big deal but I guess it's caused quite a stir!

mkhan1093 thanks for the DP on what happens when you click it. I would go with design change being rolled out to SPG holders first if it weren't for it disappearing on climbfire. The 30
day language is what really has me curious.
I have it on my new Mercedes Benz card but not on my older Everyday card.
I did not click for 3 reasons:
1. My Mercedes card is just a month old
2. My credit score recently dropped because of an auto refinance
3. I have a reporting BK13 and not qualified for an increase, per previous attempts on the Everyday card
So it's not just the SPG card. Hope my datapoint helps!
I have it on my ED but not my SPG......my ED is a week older than my SPG.
Who's going to click it? 😳 Maybe AMEX is telling us it will be approved.......
I have it on my BCE card. I just got a 3000.00 auto increase 2 days ago. Should I push it & see what happens? I have only had 1 increase in the 2 yrs I had the card & that was 1 1/2 yrs ago .
Yes! Do it! Let us know the results 😀
