Re: New Capital One Savor rewards structure / bonus

Not surprised they're about to release a Savor and Savor One

No the fee isn't justified. It's just like the venture. A good card for the bonus and then after that there's dozens of cards on the market that beat it.

Savor One? So it’ll be similar to the quicksilver and quicksilver one? Perhaps the Savor One will have an annual fee?

$95 AF. Forget it. C1 can’t seem to decide if they are a high end card company much like Chase or a low end. The Savor was not a bad card but like another post mentioned with the Uber card, Marvel etc... there is just too much out there that is better then this now over priced card. I’ll just stick with the plain old QS.

What about the existing Savor cards that people already have...will those change?

Their website has both cards listed and you can apply for either one now.

Thanks for the link. So perhaps existing Savor members are going to be switched to the Savor ONE.

Re: New Capital One CC launching soon

I'm generally pro-Cap One but I don't see the point to this new Savor One and won't be getting it (or likely the Savor, for that matter) since I don't put enough restaurant spend through credit cards to make this worth the AF. It'd have been better IMO if they'd revamped the Quicksilver to make it a straight 2% cashback card to compete with Synchrony's PayPal 2% MC.

Re: New Capital One CC launching soon

What is "entertainment"?

Is it movies, or plays, or going to a Cubs game?

Or iit is something stupid, like buying tickets for something online, like a concert, at a discount?
