To receive a statement credit, you must use your Venture card to either complete the Global Entry application and pay the $100 application fee, or complete the TSA Pre® application and pay the $85 application fee. +1 That's my thoughts as well CC. I used to have the Venture and while it has gotten a little better with the 10x on Hotels.com and now GE/TSA credits...it's still a hard sell to me considering that it's basically a 2% card with a $95 annual fee. But I will say kudos to them for doing what they can to make the card more attractive and to give current cardholders another perk.
