Also 3% uncapped on groceries, beats the Amex BCE!

Why would they be happy about it? They now have to apply for a new card to get the 0% financing. Take the score hits. Harder approval. The new issuer will probably throw out a bunch of $500 limits that won't grow unless you take a HP. While with comenity, you had easy approval and a $500 limit could be in the thousands in 4 months giving you a limit that you can actually do something with without wrecking your score from utilization.
Anyone prequalify for one of the new cards yet? I have a fraud alert on my CRs (waiting to be removed) that usually messes up prequalications so I can't check.

Maybe bigger issue for this forum than the general population but some people may be at Citi's maximum exposure too.

As long as you're okay with having to spend the rewards on Wayfair. They're giving you Wayfair reward dollars, not actual cash back.

Oh, I misread. Thought that they could be used for statement credit on the card. Then, not so useful!
I got nothing.
Husband:
We couldn't pre-qualify you at this time. You can still apply for the Wayfair Credit Card to instantly enjoy the benefits.
However, we have found an alternative plan for you that is not offered by Citibank, N.A., and has it's own terms and conditions.

And if you're willing to accept a SUB of only $40 off an order, you might as well try to go for a 3% on everything card.
I'm back to BCE from BCP after upgrading a year ago for $250 and some no-fee Plans.
I prequalified, I also prequalify for HD, just a dp it gives you the terms of whatever card you can get, it does not give you terms for both cards, I got T&C for mastercard version.
However I m not a fan of Citi retail hard pull clis and I have the best buy card already so theres no reason for me to take HP and new account for a redundant store card
Yeah just found out about this. I just got home and checked the mailbox and there was a letter from Cominity. Thinking it was just a letter about closing account, turns out it was the new Mastercard with the same $8500 limit as the previous store card. Wasn't expecting that but I'll take it.
