Great Job on that AMEX!

That card will help you a lot!

Remember try to PIF or at least make very large payments on that card.

AMEX frowns upon paying the minimum payment.

Remenber the 61 day 3x CLI on that card.

If you keep at it you will be able to get any prime card in a year!

I have been tempted to get it since I shop there a lot, but I don't have it in me to pull the trigger. I will definitely app for it when I make more money. For now, my AMEX BCE will have to do.. haha!

Congrats and way to go on the Amex! Now that you have your 1st, other Amex cards you obtain should report with your 2013 member date. It's helpful later on when you open new Amex accounts because it will help your AAoA.

Did you ever call in to see what CL they gave you?

The one thing i like about Costco amex instead of BCE/BCP is that you get 2% on restaurants and travel  which is an nice perk

Thanks for the replies everyone. I guess it was a little bit of luck that I got approved for the card. But this is definitely encouraging. I haven't had a chance to call in to see the credit limit yet. I was waiting to see if I can get in to the online account. But it doesn't seem to be the 24 hour wait time apply to the weekend. It's passed the 24 hour mark but I still have to wait. Well, no rush then.
