New ways to use Chase Freedom Restaurant/Gas 5%?

I just got my freedom card and I don't think I can use up the 1500 for the period. I dine out often and I don't ever buy gas. I am thinking of just buying gift cards at chain restaurants, coffee shops, to use up the 1500 limit. Anyone have other good ideas?

If you dine often, buying GC from restaurant is a perfect way to use up $1,500 on 5% CB.

my work cafeteria codes as fast food by MCC code. Wish that Discover felt the same way. They put it under catering-travel/entertainment.
