Hi all!
I've bee a spectator for months and this is my first post. I have recently made great strides in improving my credit by using the advice on this forum. So here is my situation:
I am 26 and I am rebuilding my credit
I have no derogatory items on my credit report (finally!)
Student loans all in good standing
Auto loan in good standing (3 years)
1 inquiry
3 credit cards: Cap One Secured $200 (3 years), Cap One Journey Student Card $1,000(2/2014), VS Angel Card $750(4/2014 SP)
How long should I wait to apply for a new credit card and which one would be best?

I would try an few pre qualified sites to kind of see where you stand, but don't take an pre qualified offer as guarantee approval.
If it were me personally I would garden an bit and try and get your scores into the high 600s before thinking of applying, unless you are in need of credit card now that is.

What type of cards would you ;like cash back, travel?
What do you spend the most on monthly?
Are you able to have someone add you as an AU?
Edit
Scores (Fico)?
I will definitely do that as my AAoA is not that long. Should I wait 6 months? A year?

Depending on what cards you are looking for. Some companies like one year at least of credit history. I think chase and Barclay's in particular like to see that you have had good payment history for at least a year.
Is there any particular for of card you are looking for BT, cash back, rewards, travel?

Congrats on making moves to improve your credit profile. Given that you have two new CCs, I would suggest gardening for at least six months before getting more credit (and to help get those scores up). As far as what would be a good match for you, it really depends on what your spending is like or what stores you frequent.

My Cap One Journey is cash back, but I would like more and definitely travel. My current scores are TU:620, EX:629, EQ:620. They should be higher now because I disputed my last collection account and got it deleted. I won't know for sure until my scores refresh at the end of this month. I spend the most on shopping, bills, and groceries. My husband can add me as an AU but his limits are lower than mine, would that still help? He only has one credit card.

Well I would wait and garden for a bit,try to clean up everything. Then decide on what kind of card that fits your needs.Sallie Mae plus an flat rate card like quicksilver could be a good combo to aim for. Sallie Mae could give you 5% on groceries/gas $250 limit per month on both categories. Then for everything else use quicksilver which is 1.5%.
