Nfcu New account 90 days $3000 spend

I have a sibling so that has the American Express navy federal credit union and he has five days left for the 90 days to get the bonus account opening can eat he purchase gift cards from Instacart because since he shops in Instacart and Amazon?

I know some banks  it doesn't work with real American Express

to do the $3000 90 days spend

I picked up this card last year when there was a $300 sub. I switched this to my everyday card to hit the sub organically.

my local utilities (power/gas/waste) do not accept amex as payment. I used this amex to purchase one debit visa gift card for a few hundred dollars and used that to pay current month plus prepay one month.
