So I was originally gonna cancel my Visa Perks "non plus, non sig" version.
They agreed to do a product change to the U.S Banks cash lower version with just the 1% cash back. Like a fool I accepted it.
And yesterday I received the Cash+ version with the 5% catergories. That's awesome, I guess the customer service rep didn't know the difference.
Congratulations to you!...Thanks for sharing.
congrats
Congratulations! Definitely a nice PC
Congrats on the PC!
AFAIK, the 1% on everything Cash Rewards is no more. Cash+ now has a Visa Platinum and a Visa Signature offering. The Cash 365 is their 1.5% on everything card. It doesn't seem like a horrible gen spend card, although 1.5% CB cards are a dime a dozen these days.
Congrats on the PC. You will like the card, it's quite shiny.
I've had mine a short time with it but I've been happy thus far. It has it's drawbacks like a crappy website, ambiguous categories, and some others but has some great benefits too. No threshold for redemption is awesome. Especially for a card where I'm going to put a limited amount of spend. Great for phone bills. Plus I just bought myself a new phone so I have > $600 in 5% spend on the card this month. Very nice.
Decent dining card for non Discover/Freedom quarter. Regular restaurant is only 2% but fast food 5%. I'm planning to just it for all restaurant spend next quarter as I don't have a 3% dining card. And still keep the phone category for my phone bill.
Agreed, I think U.S. Bank probably has the worse website out of all my cards.
