Got my new chase freedom and walmart discover in the mail. Neither came with a credit score. Any idea? I didn't get the best APR terms or anything like that so why was no score provided?
Very good question because by law if you don't get the best terms they are suppose to furnish scores

OP - what were the final terms offered (i.e. APR) for the Walmart Discover and Freedom?

Can't recall the exact numbers but Freedom was 18.xx% and Walmart discover was 22.xx%
Was your Freedom an instant approval or did you have to use the reconsideration channel (i.e. declined at first then approved afterwards)? For your Walmart Discover, your card carrier should have the information on the back (usually would indicate your score and a range from 300-850). If it's not on the reverse portion of the carrier, then a letter would be sent separately and you may receive it within a few weeks.
Just a wild guess here, but did you apply using a code from a targeted mail offer? If so, it might have had more specific APR terms, instead of a range. If that's what happened, maybe it technically qualifies as approving you for the "best" terms as long as they match what was on your mail offer.
I haven't gotten a score from Chase in a while. Although, they say they don't just go by scores, they look at he whole credit profile. So perhaps they didn't use the score to determine your approval.
My Chase Freedom just arrived, and the score was provided. Its on the back of the sheet that the credit card was attached to.
By the way, my Card Acquisition Risk Score was 739 (range 250 - 900) Source Chase Bank USA. And since It says I can obtain a copy of my credit report from Equifax, that must be who they pulled. Credit Sesame says they also pulled Experian.
