I just applied for my first ever CC..and I chose a walmart CC,( still in the rebuilding stage) and was approved for $400. My very first CC!!! No laughing!

Thank you!!! I guess I shouldn't really say rebuilding, bc I've never had a CC, but I had medical collections that I had to have wiped off, so I feel like I'm rebuilding! LOL!

Congrats, that first card can be the hardest to get. Treat if well. PIF every month and before you know it, banks will be paying you to be a customer

Everyone get's their first card somewhere. Sorry to hear you had to deal with medical collections that can happen to about anyone, not a lot of control over medical needs frankly.

A lot of people have to start with secured cards or high apr fees so I think you are doing very well. Way to go!!!!!!
