Both cards are maxed out at $25k. The store card is the oldest but I didn't think it would upgrade
after I got the AmEx card. I never knew you can have two. A pleasant surprise I must say.

Typically when someone says a card is maxed out, they mean they've used all the available credit. That's what they thought you meant.
