they pulled experian and equifax 10 pt hit for EX bc the hard pull. but EQ didnt budge EX=5 EQ=8 TU=9 INQ.

It sounds like cap one is the oldest trade line account. I wouldn't advise canceling it b/c it will drop your AAoAs. I would keep it open and just not use it. Cap one never gives CLIs...
this is wrong, closed cards in good standing stay on your report for 10 years. in 10 years the OP will hopefully have long history so the lost of the card then will have very little impact. The only reason not to close a card is that it will effect your total UTL.
The AF is not terrible, if you don't need the card close it, if you can think of any reason to keep it that is worth $20 keep it open.
I should have corrected my post....it will drop AAoA after 10 years b/c it will have stopped reporting the account on the CR.
