I broke down and called executive office yesterday, complained about how unhappy i was with my credit limit not increasing in like 3 years. She asked a bunch of questions for manual review, least amount of increase i would accept, (7500) and how much i really wanted (10,000) Got a call back today with the 7500 APPROVED.
My card was opened in april 2008 with 500.00 limit, credit steped to 750.00 and then at christmas 2009 went to 3250.00 where it has stayed. My credit score back then was like a 520, and today is 724.
I was able to get a pc a couple months ago to a venture card, but no increase.
Congratulations!!! That's amazing!!!!!!!!!!!
(ETA) I really hope that Cap1 begins to modify its business model to allow for increases on rebuilder accounts. As a customer's credit improves, it makes sense to reward them and keep the customer. I would think that this is part of building a business relationship. Well, we'll see if this points to changes in the near future. Once again, congrats!
WOW, that is very good...i have been stuck at 500 for years..as soon as i buy my first house I am closing them..can't be bothered with Capital One no more
Congrats! These boards have me avoiding Cap One at all costs. Glad you had some success with them.
Nice, my CL has been at $1100 since 2008 with no luck in CLI. My case is with the Exec office right now and still waiting to hear from them.
she also told me it could be a hard pull, i asked if it would only be one, and she said no, all three. I checked just now and I see NO hard pulls.
Also, she asked me SEVERAL times where i got the number, i told her I searched the internet for it, and she asked me what site i got it from. I told her i couldn't remember. She still asked me again what site.
just checked my account and the new limit is there already!!!! omg, i feel like hell has frozen over or something...lol
Reading the subject, waiting for the punch line. Seriousl though, congrats to you! That really does deserve a happy dance!
