Called to see if I caould PC my Apple Visa to the LL Bean. Was told I needed to apply for the LL bean then they 'might' transfer my CL over to the LL Bean and I repeat she said might.
I asked : Could you confirm that this can be done before I apply?
CSR: I need to pull your credit first
Me: Why do you need to pull my credit to see if you can transfer an existing CL to another card and close the card? I wouls think you must have a policy that says if this can be done?
CSR: Without pulling your credit, I can't tell you if I will be able to transfer your Apple Visa CL to the LL Bean Visa
Anyone ever heard of this ?

Well that's just stupid....it would have taken all I had not to tell the CSR that they were stupid too! Either you do a PC or you don't! Simple..
Anyway I wa able to PC in January from Apple to Rewards without a problem. No HP at all. Don't know if this would be considered different due to the type of card, but I did it and my account was only open for about 4 months at the time.

My point exactly. I asked her , she said witthout the pull she couldn't tell me. I should just call back.
I think it's easier to PC from the Apple to the iTunes one. I really want that LL Bean Card maybe I should suck it up one HP.
