When I had my Opensky card, I experienced the same thing - extraordinarily slow posting times for the first few payments and then it got closer to normal.
My theory is that since it's a rebuilder card with a high risk crowd, they just want to make sure everything is rolling well before sticking to 'normal' processing times.
Thanks! Glad to hear it's not just me. You would think that they would process the rebuilders the quickest since they *may* be the ones that are checking the balance and making payments between the due dates, but maybe that's just a "me" thing.
I have a savings account dedicated to OpenSky payments now so that nothing gets messed up because of how they pull ACH.
No issues here. I've had OpenSky for almost 3 years now. No issues whatsoever. Quick enough processing times for me. The only reason I still have it is because they've waived the AF fee 2 years in a row for me. I call them a month before the AF comes up to see if they'll waive. If they don't this year, I'll just close it. Other than that, solid bank. Nothing special but it gets the job done.
I am also noticing it can take weeks. My last payment was 10/23 and it hasn't changed my balance yet.
