I have the BECU Cash back Sig Visa with a 13.49 apr they offered me to do a PC to their regular Visa at 10.49 it would be my lowest APR of any credit card but I lose Sig benefits. I have plenty of cash back cards at 1/1.5 & 2%. My other Visa Sig's have the benefits.
No brainer right?
I'll assume by the views and lack of responses that it was a dumb question to post.
If you are going to be carrying a balance then I wouldn't use it as a rewards card anyways and therefore getting the card with the lower APR is the better option if you don't want to take out a new account.
I have the low APR version. I considered PC to the rewards card a few years ago, but the increase in APR turned me off.
I'm glad I kept it. The available APR are lower than what you are being offered. In August / September each year BECU reviews accounts to see if you get a lower APR. I have the lowest APR and it's nice as a simple BT card to carry balances.

@NRB525- What are the reoccuring BT offers on the BECU Visa?
Zonk
Get a load of this absolute BS!
I've been waiting for my new card and logged in today to check the status. I see my APR still sitting at 13.90 so I call.
The rep proceeds to put me on hold and then comes back and says the supervisor told him and I quote...
Your rate is not the 10.90 you were quoted but will stay at 13.90 as interest rates went up at BECU this past quarter and the new rate should be 17.90 because I didn't use my card for 2 months. I just about flipped my lid. I said why don't you go back and listen to the call! Why would I downgrade to a regular visa with no cashback for the same rate? He was stumped. I said sure sounds like your supervisor has no clue about interest rates because prime is at 3.25 and all of my other credit credits are doing rate reductions. The rep agreed and agreed to pull the previous two phone calls where I asked like 5x to confirm my new rate. What a joke. Also, BECU customer service reps for their credit cards sound like a bunch of dumb kids reading scripts. I am not happy.
How about when I opened my card exactly one year ago the rep advised me to take the cashback for 12 months then switch to the low interest visa in 12 months to get a better rate because I got 0% for the first 12 months.
