Do you have another card that gives atleast 1.5% CB?
If you dont, and you don't have a use for the revolving categories they offer on the regular freedom, then I'd switch.
But as already said, only you know your spending habbits and what best fits your lifestyle. For my personal reasons, I would keep the regular freedom, but I have a DC and the wife has a QS so we are covered on the unlimited CB of 1.5% or 2%
I'm not sure of all the differences, but I know there are some.
To me, if I was you I would keep my freedom.

Same card, benefits however QS1 comes with an AF.
Thanks!
That's true. Shoot, get online chat with CO and try to get that QS1 combined with your QS!
Good lord. Well I hope my wife doesn't have it that hard. I don't want to pay the AF next year so in hoping they'll PC it before then
If we get to that point, that's what I'll try then... If they are stubborn about combining

As you already have the QS, you get an uncapped 1.5%, so, used as cashback, the Freedom Unlimited has no advantage (you could use QS for the same rewards, and get instant redemption and no foreign transaction fee). And so if you can use the 5% categories, it makes no sense to do the PC if you use it for cashback.
If can use UR points with a transfer card like the CSP, it is slightly different, as 1.5 UR points can be worth much more than 1.5%
