PNC core visa CLI BT

DH has this card, he has a BT offer for 0% til 8/2020. We are looking to shift a few balances utilizing this offer since his other cards are towards the end of their promos.

Now I know he is eligible  for a CLI at the 6 month mark which will be 7/21, it's a SP I believe from my recent search on here. Soooo my question is we have til August to use BT deal, should we wait until after the CLI request, I know we shouldn't assume he will get it of course, or should we just go forward with the BT offer?

Just wondering if it is better to request CLI first, then BT or does it not really matter. He has used the card and charges a few hundred and always PIF. I know this isn't a widely talked about card and just looking for experiences or advice.

Thanks

When asking for a CLI you always want to present yourself in the best light to the creditor. Do the BT after the CLI request.

@gdale6    Thanks. That was what I was thinking and if he gets no increase we can still take advantage of the BT offer. We just will not use as much Smiley Happy
