PNC core visa CLI BT

DH has this card, he has a BT offer for 0% til 8/2020. We are looking to shift a few balances utilizing this offer since his other cards are towards the end of their promos.

Now I know he is eligible  for a CLI at the 6 month mark which will be 7/21, it's a SP I believe from my recent search on here. Soooo my question is we have til August to use BT deal, should we wait until after the CLI request, I know we shouldn't assume he will get it of course, or should we just go forward with the BT offer?

Just wondering if it is better to request CLI first, then BT or does it not really matter. He has used the card and charges a few hundred and always PIF. I know this isn't a widely talked about card and just looking for experiences or advice.

Thanks

Re: PNC core visa CLI BT

When asking for a CLI you always want to present yourself in the best light to the creditor. Do the BT after the CLI request.
"If there's a lack of money in your life, understand that feeling worried, envious, jealous, disappointed, discouraged, doubtful or fearful about money can never bring more money to you, because those feelings come from a lack of gratitude for the money you have."

"Reactions are powerful creators because they contain every element needed to manifest—they're a combination of thought, belief, and feeling in action. Positive reactions create more positive things, and negative reactions create more negative things. If you can respond to negative situations calmly and lightly, instead of with emotional turbulence, what happens next in your life will be so much better."

@gdale6    Thanks. That was what I was thinking and if he gets no increase we can still take advantage of the BT offer. We just will not use as much Smiley Happy

Re: PNC core visa CLI BT

Just a fun DP for you. I have this card and had a $1,500 limit, used the BT and was down to around $950, then got an increase up to $3,500 total. I had a few CLI's from SP's on other cards, so idk if that affected the decision (I sure looked better), but food for thought.

CO Platnium - $500; CO Quicksilver - $5,500; CO BuyPower - $500; Target MC - $5,000; Chase Amazon Prime - $2,000; Care Credit - $5,000; PNC Core - $3,500; Citi DoubleCash - $2,300 - AmEx Everyday - $2,000; Citi Simplicity - $13,000; Chase World of Hyatt - $17,300
