PayPal 2% Cashback Rewards problem

I applied For Paypal 2% cashback credit card, but I found that it earns rewards points not actual cash and the points doesn't even match the 2%. I called their CS and she told me that I earn points and cashback at the same time and that the points include the cash. Does anyone know anything about this?! According to CS supervisor I earn 2% plus points. Has anyone applied for the 2% cash rewards and got the point system as well?

Sure looks like you wound up with the Paypal Extras card instead.

However, on my statement and on the back of the card it says cashback. They even confirmed that when I spoke with the CS.

The statement looks like the Paypal Extras card, which is separate from the cashback one and runs on points. As I understand it the cashback one pays out straight cash, no points involved. They're two different products.

They obviously screwed up and gave you the wrong card.  You need to call them up and get it fixed.
