Re: Paying Car Payment With CC?

Are you asking if you can? Many lenders don't allow you to pay debt (loan) with more debt (CC). Those that do, usually charge a convience fee that doesn't make it worthwhile.

|| Barclaycard Rewards Visa $5500 || AMEX BCE $2000 || Discover IT $3000 || Amazon Rewards Visa $1800 ||
|| Chase Freedom $2700 || CSP $5000 || Chase Marriott Premier $7500 || Sallie Mae MC $3800 ||

FICO Scores: EX 752 (3/13/13) || EQ 782 (10/4/13) || TU 724 (1/18/13)

Re: Paying Car Payment With CC?

Sorry don't know how text got deleted. Last year Dw purchaced a Jeep finance through citizens bank. The only way to pay via their online site is with CC. For the last year we have been paying via visa debit. I want to maximize rewards and pay with my CC. Will this be looked down on by my CCC. Also there is no fee for using CC.

+1

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

If there is no fee by all means pay with CC

And CC companies won't care a bit

Re: Paying Car Payment With CC?

I was thinking that journey. However the payment is 500 and my limit is only 1k. I was just a little worried about AA for using 50% paying credit with credit.

Pay it off in 2 or more payments so it doesn't show as 50% UTLSmiley Wink

Example pay with CC today 2 days later PIF or half

remember you have a grace period to play with just pay before statement cuts

Re: Paying Car Payment With CC?

It depends on where you bought the car. An authorized dealer probably wouldn't accept it, but a "corner" lot might.
