Logged into my paypal yesterday and noticed my spending power went up by 2k. Had the card for 80 days and pushed a few thousand through it and mostly paid off. Guess GE wants us to really spend this holiday !!!!

yeah I was very happy. So now the question I have is this. Since I didnt initiate it, does that mean there is no hit to my credit file? or did they do a soft on me

They may have softed you, but that still woudn't be a hit to your CR. Only hard pulls show and count on your FICO.

The only one that upset me was amex. I pushed a LOT through them and PIF. did a 61 day CLI and got a no go. grrrrr guess patience will pay off with them. My goal is to get amex card number 2 sometime mid next year

If you did not request/initiate the CLI, it will be a soft.

nice ! mind if i asked what you started off with?  is this your first cli?  i just got that card last week.  mine was opened with a 500 limit. i got the debit card to use with the line of credit too
