There ya have it, I guess.
I'll post when I know for sure, but like I said, my friend just recently applied...got the same message I did and she got approved with a 10K CL with a lower score then me.
Not sure if it will fly with me, but there's always hoping...
Just try to think positive, but be prepared for the worst.
BTW, did you enter that you requested the 8,000CL, or did you go lower? I'm just curious.
I just went for the 8K CL being that the system had put that in there initially. It did say I could request a lower amount, but I had read that they will sometimes counter-offer. I keep checking that dang site to see if there's an update. Nothing yet, but I did see that it could take a week. If they want income verification, I'm ready to provide that, too.
I make about $65K/year - minimum, so we'll see...
You make good money, if they ask for income verification thats a good sign you've been approved.
I'm rooting for YOU!!!!
Thank you!!! I sincerely appreciate that!!!
You are very welcome

My application told me that I was eligible for up to $10,000 (self populated by Penfed's system).
I was denied.
I tried to recon... denied.
Reason? A 5 year old CO.
The underwriter told me that ANY CO, paid or unpaid results in an immediate denial.
Ouch, I didn't realize this.
I will attempt to add it to my memory, but I'm not optimistic of its remaining there for any significant length of time.

I never experienced that with PenFed. I was approved for $1000 and it wasn't instantly.
*crosses fingers*

So there's still hope!!! I'm still waiting. It's pending...
It sure is taking a long time for your application to be approved.
You sure you submitted it?
