Penfed Bonus: Spend $1k get $50 back.

Got this email a couple of days ago, so I'm posting in case someone missed it. I don't really know if it's targeted, though. 

I have the Pathfinder, but it doesn't specify that card. It just says Penfed Visa, so it probably applies to other Visa cards issued by them.

Basically, spend a minimum (and maximum) of $1k to get 5x. Not too bad...

Ya got it as well.. Will use it as basically makes it a 7% card if my math is correct.  I have PCR and Pathfinder card, thought was PCR, but could be pathfinder?

Yup. Depending on how you play this, it could be 2% plus $50 on PCR or 1.5% plus $50 on Pathfinder unless you spend on a 4x category, which would get you about 9%!

I do wonder if you get to do this on each card. That'd be even better!

Thanks for posting this. I missed the email and it was in my inbox for days. It's on my Pathfinder Visa. Only $25 for 1k. Only 2.5% but I'll take it!

This is a sweet and straight-forward deal. I wish I received the offer. A few weeks ago, PF sent an offer to pay 5 utility bills to get $XX dollars cash back; I think it was $25.
