If only it were that easy. I'd love to not bother with them... but they pull EQ Fico 9 and NFCU pulls TU... which is 691 vs 628 so I'm stuck with PenFed. I'm amazed how a 6 year old IIB collection can tank a score that much... but that's what's happening because the reports are identical other than that.
The site really is in a state right now. Took me 14 hours to even be able to login! Kept getting blank pages and once even a piece of script with a button underneath it that I had to push for the script to execute and redirect me to the page I started from. Finally got in by going through login then accessing the site in a new tab from a Google link because the login sent me to a blank page even though it accepted my credentials.

2 days later it's still crapped out... can't complete credit card apps online or over the phone.

Not a problem... doing it because I'm annoyed more than anything else. I wanna get these 2 PenFed cards in before I take a long term garden nap... I really have no chance right now with NFCU so might as well accept the love from PenFed. All because my EQ score is better than my TU score...
I see it is gone yet again, but it did come back 2 days ago and the wife was able to snag a pre-qual and subsequent approval on power cash rewards showed up next day after review and hard pull.
Son logged in today to do as well, but pre-qual was gone. Maybe they are easing it in from over use on the apps? I dunno.

Your wife must have got in before their system took a dump... I did the prequal Tuesday night and was like "I'll just finish tomorrow morning" and when I tried yesterday morning I'm getting nothing but website errors across 5 difference devices. This is going to the application tab and clicking the green "continue" button.
I've called them twice and their reps are unable to complete the apps as well.
It's not me... it's their garbage system. It's no coincidence the system has been trashed since they took down the prequal button.

Yeah I looked over it the other day... I'm in WA (obviously) and not interested in Chase, Cap One or USBank atm due to Cap One's triple pull and the fact Chase/USBank aren't BK friendly. That leaves PenFed... I have the Gold and trying to get one or both of the cards they prequaled me for... but the website isn't allowing that to happen.
