Penfed reward points - how to redeem for visa prepaid card?

I think it depends on the type of card you have with PenFed.  Not all cards get the same gift card options.  I remember asking this question well over a year ago to a CSR when I had the Platinum Rewards and the Amex Travel.

I just checked mine and I don’t have it on either of my cards.

Yesterday i met the spend requirement for my penfed travel amex and to day ihad 23000+ bonus points ,so i called penfed rewards department and asked them about redeeming for a prepaid visa card and they said that 'they dont have that programme ' for travel amex redemption. 

So i  went ahead redeemed  the points for 200$ amazon gift card.

Luckily i shop a lot at amazon and i have prime. Besides my step daughter has given me a list of toys to get for her birthday and christmas from 'toys r us' brochure and all of those in the list are available on amazon. Lol!!

So it works out for me.

But it sucks that they dont have prepaid visa redemption (like navy does ) for travel amex.

For me (Plat Rewards) it's the first item in Giftcards

Thank you for the screen shot. My travel amex does not have that option unfortunately
