Plan for 2013

Currently have Barclays Rewards MC and BCE.  I think after I 3X AMEX and make sure Barclays does their 180 days well-check on me I'll app for Sapphire.  Assuming Barclays is happy I'll have two rewards cards that cover 2% utilities, 2% gas, 2% department stores, 2% or 3% groceries depending on card and 1% everthing else.  All I'm missing (that benefits me) is the 2% on restaurants so I don't think I'll go for CSP, just the regular CS.  I'm AF averse and I don't want to play quarterly category games.

So along these lines does this sound good?

If I was able to go 6 months without applying when I only had $3,000 in credit, I know you can do it with your many thousands, maiden_girl!

Or go for the Priceline Visa, 2% back on everything., leaving the BCE for the 3% on groceries.    Or  the similar Fidelity Amex

Re: Plan for 2013

I want to make it until august to get a full 1 year in the garden, then I plan to app for a freedom, a PRG, possibly a barclay ring card just so if I need to carry a balance I have a nice low APR card, a citi forward, and a CSP (Possibly...)

That is my app spree for the year of 2013 Smiley Very Happy then another year in the garden.

Edit: I'll probably also app for an amex revolver, maybe a BCP Smiley Very Happy

Citi Forward is hands down the best for restaurants.
