I don't have any baddies, no collections.. Nothing. Just no credit history and a bunch of inquiries lol

And that's not good. Again, my advice would be get a secured card - preferably one that graduates and let it build your credit.

Yes you can go ahead an apply for another card. It will lower your score initially but your score should come back up higher than before by the time you apply for a mortgage.
