I just received an email with this notification
WOW! I didn't realize it was that profitable for the credit unions, I guess Amazon wouldn't be doing Prime Day a 5th time if it wasn't profitable for them. I have made a single Prime Day purchase ever and that was last year I bought my wife a Cricut machine that she wanted and the deal was pretty stellar. I just looked to see if I happened to put it on my one CU card but I used an AMEX.
No offers from my friends at NASA
I got this email and all I have is a PenFed Promise card. It will be interesting what the bonus looks like... but that would mean I would have to need / buy something on Prime Day.
Oh well, the email will be aspirational.

Just woke and have the same email. Thanks for posting @CreditBones
prime day is mainly just junk that doesnt sell normally or them pushing their amazon products such as alexa, etc.. Really never bought anything that day from them other then some alexas or similar. I shop amazon alot, just not prime day. Only CU I have that seen anything is PenFed as well and no clue what offer is
Nada from my CUs so far.
As CC said though, it's never really worth buying on Prime Day. It's either Amazon trying to give you deals on their products to lock you in tighter to their services or discounts on things that don't sell well to begin with. You can get better prices on most of the stuff on Black Friday.
Prime Day is any day a Credit One is closed

+1
More often than not, their offloading overstock and crap.
You'll find some decent deals on Amazon devices, but that's about it.
