Doing some research in the forums I found some people mentioned being able to PC old WF cards to the new Active Cash. It appears you can now do this online. I clicked on the card online then on the right hand side clicked "more services" then clicked "switch credit card". No hard inquiry, account number stays the same, no new account is opened so maintains credit history. There were a few services that were lost on my old Cash Back Signature Visa:
1. Emergency Cash Disbursement and Card Replacement
2. Auto Rental Collision Damage Waiver
3. Travel Accident Insurance
4. Extended Warranty Protection
5. Price Protection
6. Purchase Security
7. Lost Luggage Reimbursement
8. Trip Cancellation and Interruption
Since I never use these anyway, I'd rather have the extra 1% cash back for the active cash. No change to credit limit, APR, etc. I know in the past people had reported WF doing hard pulls and deleting old accounts but it appears evidently things have changed and one can now seamlessly do product changes online with no hard pull and no new account creation required!
