@CreditCuriosity Yes, I have had the flex loan at 8.99 for quite some time but no need to take out a loan against the card. For the BT offer last summer, it was definitely tied to me posting a large statement balance on Amex. Cap 1 also sent an offer at that time. They never come when I need them.
@Remedios That sounds like a great offer on the OG. I still have my 0% APR on my Unlimited until Feb 2024 so it could be a potential balance transfer card should I need it.
For Amex, I saw that you had gotten perm reduction on your Reserve so you gave me hope to call and try. I'm happy for the promo reduction but I may take a stab at manual review. But I ain't hoping for a miracle 😅
I got this email this morning. 6.99% for new purchases on my CFF through the end of August. I don't know if it will do anything for me because I don't carry a balance on that card. But it doesn't seem like it could hurt, and it just might come in handy for something. I'm not really spending on that card right now because I'm working on the SUB for my new CSP, but whatever.
At the very bottom it says "Please not that this offer is based on existing information on your account as of 01/11/2023." I just noticed that when I was editing the pics. I added a CSP on 01/20/2023. But apparently I got the deal anyway because I got the next email.
Chase said NO and then informed me that I haven't paid interest in over TEN years and then confirm my Traveller reservations.
@Namaste7 I wonder what has spurned these Chase offers. Well, hopefully, you get something worthwhile.
@mgood I'm in the same boat. I don't necessarily need it but I do have some major international travel for personal/ work and may just want to carry a balance 1 month. But regardless, it's nice to have than my current highest APR.

After seeing this, I hopped on AMEX online chat and was able to get a 12 month promotional APR reduction on my Delta Reserve from 22.29% to 20.29% for future purchases. I have a few overseas trips coming up soon so either the CSR or Reserve will get heavy use. There was also a promotional offer for 0% APR until July 2023 for my Amex EDP. I took the Reserve reduction and the online rep suggested I call for manual reduction as well. I'll be sure to call. Probably worth calling Chase as well. I got my CSR at their highest APR a year ago so any reduction is nice. Wish I could get some permanent reductions but don't we all😊
Nice! Congratulations! I also saw an email from Chase too offering an APR reduction on my Freedom card until August 31!
I wonder if Chase is drunk..
Anyway, got one 🤷♀️.

Not drunk, jealous of Precious.
