Pruning has commenced

Decided to cut back on my number of open accounts.  Not worried about utilization or AAoA so I went ahead with it.

Before:

Chase Freedom $10,000

CSP $10,000

Citi TY $9,200

Citi HiltonHHonors $7,000

Chase SWRR $10,500

DCU $10,000

CapOne Spark Miles $12,500

Discover It $10,000

CareCredit $7,800

SmileGeneration $7,500

USAA MC $4,000

USAA Amex $4,000

Citi Home Depot $8,800

Lowes $5,000

After:

Chase Freedom $10,000

CSP $20,000 (transfer SWRR limit)

Citi TY $9,200 (currently 0%)

CapOne Spark Miles $12,500

Discover It $10,000

Citi Hilton Hhonors $7,000 (for now)

Lowes $5,000

Home Depot $8,800

I may have lost some available credit but I am (mostly) comfortable with my line up.  May add SPG and/or BCP towards the end of the month to round it out.  Went from $116k to $82k but with a more focused, quality line up.

+1

Couldn't agree with you more, quality over quantity is always better.  You made some nice decisions, in my view.

I'd swap out the Citi TYP (due to upcoming changes) for the Penfed Travel Rewards Amex (I see you have the platinum rewards; I have both the platinum and travel rewards which work fine w/ Penfed).
