Questions about US Bank Altitude Reserve card

I just applied for the Cash+ as I can take advantage of the categories and got the 7-10 day message. I heard this is typical with US Bank. I was preapproved at 16.74 APR, so how solid are their preapprovals?

USB is known for manually reviewing apps especially for first time customers.
You can always call UW and talk to someone, but that person doesn’t have the ability to approve your app. They make a recommendation and send it for review.

Good luck on your app. I would wait around 6 months to app for the Altitude in order to give them some time to see some history on the new cash+ if approved.
