Quick Question about CSP

Hello

So I need to book a flight for roughly 6/30 returning 7/5.  I'm planning on taking Southwest since I'm cheap and I'm a Rapid Rewards member.  Anyhow, I'd like to charge everything (including the subsequent car rental...here's hoping they are a CSP partner too) on the CSP...but since I'll probably be relegated to having to wait until Saturday to app (since TU is slow as hell dropping my derog and I'd rather not do a pull daily to find out if it's "May 2014" yet...although I'm tempted to do a pull tonight just to see...), will Chase "overnight" the card to me...so if I app Saturday morning can I get it Monday?  I'm hoping the "Wanna Get Away" fares of 78 bucks are still around next week...

Since it's just a 90 minute flight, I'm not really concerned with a lot of flight frills.

Thanks

Re: Quick Question about CSP

First off, depending on your location, Chase pulls EX ( at least for me). Also, if you get approved on Saturday, they'll send it on the next business day, so you'll most likely get it on tuesday or wednesday. My bet will be wednesday.

They will expedite if you ask them. Whether that means the next business day or not, I'm not sure.

If your scores are accurate, there's no way you're going to get a denial today. Smiley Wink

Re: Quick Question about CSP

I got mine within a few days. They pulled EX for me. Honestly, I am sure they have pulled another CRA when the applicant is borderline, but I have yet to see them ONLY pull another CRA that is not EX

Yes, my scores are accurate, pulled from MyFico.  Of course, when the derog on TU drops off (again, "May 2014" so should be any time this week - could have already dropped for all I know), I expect TU to rise.  I've looked at pull sites and it seems like Chase primarily pulls EQ in my area...and my EQ is perfectly clean with an 829...I did see a couple of TU pulls on the pull site so that must be their backup...which with an 829 I'd be surprised to be double pulled - I'd still rather wait to be sure the derog is off in case they do pull TU...even with the visible derog, I'm fairly sure I'd get approved (at worst I'd recon and be like hey get a grip that late is nearly 7 years old and I was 21)...for all I know they snapshot my CR when I app and the old late remains in their internal files (even with approval) - and I'd rather not take that chance.  Plus I want to have optimal starting CL Smiley Happy

Re: Quick Question about CSP

Actually, what I think I can do is call TU tomorrow and play dumb and be like "I have a question about when a negative statement will expire" and they'll ask me which creditor...and if it's fallen off already, the TU CSR probably won't be able to find the TL (as was the case when I called EQ - the CSR didn't even see the formerly negative TL at all) Smiley Happy .  I just hope they don't keep track of me calling and playing dumb because I've done it before.

I think they are normally experian puller if they do double pull it will be either eq or TU depending where you live i think. I was double pulled EX and TU, i had similar scores to you. My ex when i apped was 770 and my TU was 804 . Good luck i am sure you will fine with your app :-)
