No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
I think alot more info is needed before a suggestion can be made to help you improve your scores. Info like...do you have any baddies? How is your utilization? It does sound like you have high utilization which is a nice chunk of FICO scoring.
Do you have any derogatory information on any of your credit reports? (baddies)
Assuming that you HAVE revolving credit accounts (credit cards) how much of your available credit are you using? (utilization)

I'm sorry, I don't know what baddies are. And not sure what you mean by utilization either. I'm so new at all this stuff!
We need a thread with myfico lingo lol...
By "baddies" he meant any negative stains on your report.. ie; Collections, Late Payments, Charge-offs etc.
Utilization is the percentage of your total credit limit's to your balances.... so if you have a total of $1000 in your balances and limits of $2000 total, your utilization is 50%... typically you want that number to be the lowest possible since it factors into 30% of your score.
Only thing i can suggest without knowing anything is paying of all your credit cards to 0 or close to 0 and if you have any negatives, send GW letters (good will letters) and see if they'll remove them
and welcome to myfico!

Thanks for the translation!!! So I did have two things go to collections, both of which have been paid in full. No late payments in the last yr on any accounts. I just paid the balance on my active card down to a $0 balance. I just desperately need to get a loan for a house and I cant really wait until the end of summer!!!
send gw letters to the collection agencies that held your accounts see if they will remove the collections from your CR's since you paid in full, a lot harder to do since you already paid them since now you have no leverage.... do you have old late payments? if so. send GW's for those too. keep sending until you get a response... maybe once a week or once every 2 weeks. you can also try calling.

I need my score to increase by 18pts. Anyone have any quick tips to get there? I've paid everything on time for over a year and will have all my debt paid off in four months but I need that score to move before then!!
I'm not sure I understand. You say you'll have all your debts paid in 4 months, but then you say you have a zero balance. What else "will be paid offin 4 months?".

List these factors please:
-# of credit cards
-how many accounts have balances
-Current balances on credit cards
