A bucketed card is basically any starter card with a high APR and low starting limit, that won't really grow to have high limits like other cards. So esentially you're "bucketed" into that tier for that card forever (even if you PC). Once I started getting approvals for $8 - $10k cards while my Capital One card stayed at $500, I knew it was time to drop it. Of course, you can keep it, but i didn't want to bother since I knew I wouldn't use it at all.

Thanks for the replies and all the help. I guess I'm gonna have to give up on it. Really sucks they do that to a person with an excellent history, what a way to retain business. I couldn't care less to ever use their products again. I'm tired of calling them and getting the same old responses.

Again, thank you all, I will stick with discover they treat me good
